What is Portion Diaries?
The purpose of Portion Diaries is to speak life over oneself and live from a space of confidence and assurance knowing what your “portion” is in life. One of my favorite scripture’s states “The Lord is the portion of my inheritance, my cup [He is all I need]; you support my lot” (Psalm 16:5). As a reminder that because I am in covenant with God, I have the greater portion of life. In surrendering my life over to God as a believer I am saying that I trust him and the life I desire is already set before me. I often state “That’s not my portion” when referring to things that I don’t receive such as lack, sadness, opinions of people and their ideas of my life, etc. If I can name these things that aren’t my portion, I can claim those things that are. Becoming aware of this perspective has changed my language and how I view my day-to-day life.
“Portion” can be defined as a person’s destiny or lot, fortune, or inheritance.
When we truly understand who we are and who we are we refute anything that comes against the name given to us by our father. The story is written we just need to live it out in confidence and trust the purpose of our lives. Living fully in Faith!

Only God’s Timing: Answered Prayers
Something that I am constantly learning is that everything is in God’s timing alone. I am constantly living in an answered prayer and that keeps me both humble and grateful.
Position Yourself
Our posture should always be a posture of worship to the Father, when we stay in a place of submission, we make room for God to do what he has planned for our lives. When we stick to the Word of God, we keep ourselves full of Him as we grow in Him.
Chapter 28: Light Living
In this season it feels good to embrace the peace I have desired, to release all the things that no longer serve me and receive the lings God has for me. Slow and steady!

“The weight” in the Wait
Our waiting season should be consistent in leaning into the full trust of God. We carry more than we have to when we are instructed to lay our heavy burdens at the feet of God.
